There was a minor upset in Carolina where their close opponentSanteros (8-6) were rolled over by third ranked Gigantes (7-7) 98-69 on Sunday. Carolina held Aguada to an opponent 23.1 percent shooting from the field compared to 38.2 percent accuracy of the winners. They outrebounded Aguada 42-31 including 27 on the defensive glass. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Carolina maintains third position with 7-7 record having 4 victories less than leader Arecibo which they share with defeated Aguada . Aguada at the other side keeps the third place with six games lost.
